A sociological approach to understanding the structure of the Algerian family through its patterns, factors of change, and functions

In this research paper, I will address the family through its patterns, factors of change, and functions, focusing on family patterns and their initial formation, then the components of the family, as well as the factors that change the family pattern through a set of factors that we must know, such as technological factors, the geographical factor, the demographic factor, the biological factor, the ideological factor, the economic factor, then moving to the family in the modern era through a set of dynamic indicators, such as the enjoyment of individual and public freedoms by individuals, the change in the social status of family members, as well as the prevalence of democratic trends and the shrinking of the family size. In addition to the element of caring for the manifestations of civilization and luxuries and caring for organizing the promotional aspect, I will also focus on the functions of the family in the modern era, given its great importance in addressing this topic, through the biological function, the function of socialization, the emotional function or emotional gratification, in addition to the economic function, without neglecting the characteristics of the Algerian family
